How do I describe myself? What is my story? Growing up in the Atlanta area, I met my husband when I was just 14. We dated for seven years before marrying and then we were off around the world. He was in the army and I became the quintessential "army wife" and worked to support his career. Always involved with some sort of crafting--crochet, needlepoint, sewing, cross-stitch--I dabbled in all sorts of creative outlets. Then in 1998 I was introduced to the world of stamping through Stampin' Up! The demonstrator showed us how to heat emboss (oh, the magic of it all) and I was hooked! My husband retired from the army and I had more time to devote to my own interests: stamping, reading, bowling, bunko and volunteering. I became a demonstrator to help pay (I wanted that discount!) for my addiction of all things Stampin' Up! and soon found myself involved in the business side. I love being able to share the magic that got me hooked; to inspire creative papercrafting; to help that one person who thinks she/he isn't "crafty" to realize that "yes, I can make that" . To be a part of a worldwide community of demonstrators who support each other through good times and bad is a most wonderful thing! The friendships I've made and the opportunity to meet new people though my crafting makes life fun.
