I Have led a pretty diverse life and have found that you do things in seasons. Sometimes the seasons come back around, and sometimes they do not. I had horses for a season, rode for pleasure, showed in the ring, did gymkhana and trail riding. It was a wonderful season. During this time I actually started my Mary Kay career, but it was kind of a slow start because I was into the horse thing and working on winning a silver buckle. I won it! Then I settled down and began to work my business and still am 37 years later.
I have always loved cars. My Dad was a car dealer and I grew up being his son and my Mom's daughter. (which means I can turn a wrench with the best of the and still cook a great meal and sew). My husband is currently working on restoring an El Camino for me and I can't wait! We both enjoy drag races and go at least once a year to a national event.
I have recently become interested in refashioning clothing into unique custom pieces for me. I have not done very much of it, but looking on Pinterest and getting ideas is exciting and I can't wait to do more.
I started Mary Kay 37 years ago in 1981. The basic skin care was $39! Well, lots has changed. Products and trends have changed too. I have a studio for people to come to for their appointments. I can accommodate up to 6, so you can have your party at my house and not have to clean yours up! Also all the products are there and readily available, so you are able to see pretty much anything that I have.
I have a treasure trunk where discontinued and previous limited edition items are available at a fraction of their original price.
I take pride in my work and strive to have exemplary customer service. I am planning to start having themed events in the near future.
